Does my child need to be immunised?
Children don’t have the co-ordination or muscle power to be able to swim on top of the water under 3 years, however at Flippers &
Fins we teach them to be happy swimming under the water and to be water safe.
Will my child be able to swim once we have completed your course ?
Do I have to come in the water with my child ?
Depending on the age and also the height of the child you may be required to come into the water with them. All baby and toddler
classes require a carer in the water.

How long are the classes ?
Flippers & Fins run classes for ½ hour.
Should I take my child swimming on my own ?
It is always good to take you child swimming in between classes but try not to make it too structured, let your child have fun as this will
build their confidence.

We have a maximum of ten babies per class.
